Hera Getaways is a woman-owned travel agency created out of pure passion for travel and planning travel.

Megan, the owner of Hera Getaways, is an avid traveler and finds joy in planning events and trips for herself and others. She has traveled to various countries herself, including Greece, Costa Rica, Mexico, and more. Her favorite places to vacation include Hawaii, Florida, and Greece. In these locations, she is well-versed and well-prepared in planning a vacation for you and your loved ones.

Megan specializes in Honeymoons, Destination Weddings, and Couples' Vacations, catering to any and all couples seeking a memorable getaway. Megan became a Travel Planner in hopes of making other travelers dream vacations happen without the stress of planning and coordinating the details or inevitable bumps in the road.
Traveling can be one of two things: the most amazing experience of your life OR one of the most stressful experiences of your life. I have been avidly planning and participating in my own travel, as well as planning travel for friends and family for several years. My goal is for you to experience amazing side of travel, and allow me to handle the stressful side of travel. I will help find you the best accommodations, locations, and activities based on your travel styles, while you focus on the love, the romance, and the relaxation.
Considering a Destination Wedding for your upcoming nuptials? I have taken extensive training both virtually and in-destination in planning and managing group travel for Destination Weddings. I assist in selecting a destination and resort, as well as connecting you with the in-destination Wedding Coordinators. From there, I assist you and your guests in booking and managing your travel plans for the big day!

My name is Whitney and I am a Travel Planner with Hera Getaways! I have loved to travel all of my life and have been lucky enough to be able to do so for work and pleasure for many years. In my years as a nanny, I was able to travel domestically as well as internationally for work; even spending a month in Australia where I worked and lived like a local, while taking in so much of what the amazing country had to offer!
From a young age, I have always been extremely fascinated by the culture and history of Europe. From the ancient sites of the Roman Empire to the priceless works of Da Vinci and Seurat; the Three Peaks of the Yorkshire Dales to the cobbled streets of Zagreb, I have studied them all in great delight. Europe is a timeless continent with a truly vast array of cultures, architecture, and traditions formed and molded by generations past, while welcoming the innovation and diversity of the future. There never ceases to be something new to see or do in Europe!
As an avid explorer and lover of the unknown, I have been privileged to spread my wings across the globe and indulge in new experiences wherever my feet have taken me. I love the excitement arriving in unfamiliar territory and uncovering all that each location has to uniquely offer. Travel is, in my most humble opinion, the greatest gift we have for understanding one another and for unifying together to make the world a better place. We get to see; we get to experience; we get to learn; and we grow in friendship and trust.
As a travel planner I have the wonderful opportunity to share my passion for travel and culture with others who, too, would love to experience something a little different from their own doorstep. It is an honor to be able to use my knowledge and experience to help others find their feet as they walk the steps of their friends, neighbors, ancestors, and even strangers who might just become lifelong friends.
